WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - I remember the water shortage worries we had here two years ago. They are nothing compared to the parched southwestern United States. And that reality is increasing demands/choices for landscaping that does away with something as familiar as apple pie--the green lawns dotting our urban and suburban landscapes.
We're not there yet in our part of the country but water is an increasingly scarce global commodity. Can we be that many years behind the push to completely rethink our landscaping and water use?
