The trial against former WPTV Meteorologist Rob Lopicola began Wednesday morning in a Palm Beach County courtroom.
In opening statements prosecutors argued that text messages would reveal that Lopicola knew the alleged victim in his sex crime case was underage.
The alleged victim took the stand and testified for more than four and a half hours.
The teenager recounted what he says happened in Lopicola's car three years ago this month.
Prosecutors say knowing the victim was underage, Lopicola still performed sexual acts with him and continued a relationship.
"We were talking and I told him I was 15, You would think he would freak out or something, I don't know, I can't speak for him. I don't know it just seemed like, it was like it was OK," the alleged victim said.
The defense argues the victim was "doing his own investigation" and was trying to "set up" Lopicola "How To Catch A Predator" style.
The victim, now 18-years-old, says he was concerned there were other victims, and went to police.
No word yet on whether Lopicola will take the stand in his own defense.
