Renaissance Learning Center marks World Autism Awareness Day

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - The Renaissance Learning Center marked Autism Awareness Day with singing and a little parade in the school yard.

The school's principal says Autism Awareness Day is a reminder of the needs for the increasing number of youngsters being diagnosed with autism

“The need for quality services for children, young children as well as adults is so important so when the children grow up to be adults they can be successful in the workplace,” said Renaissance Learning Center Principal Debbi Johnson.

The school serves youngsters ages three to fourteen.
