WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - While the FBI investigates Salomon Melgen, the doctor behind today's raid, the Contact 5 Investigators have been tracking his spending.

Records show he has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to some high profile politicians.

Financial records from the Federal Election Commission show Melgen and his family have contributed close to $350,000 to politicians and differently political groups over the past 15 years.

Records show those contributions include $24,200 made out to Senator Menendez since 1998.  He's the New Jersey Senator that Melgen has been linked to.  Along with $55,000 to the Democratic National committee.

Plus, records show he spent big money on Florida politicians as well, including $9,600 spent on Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz's campaign and another $9,200 to Senator Bill Nelson.

NewsChannel 5 contacted the politicians on Wednesday to get reaction, but so far, haven't heard back.
