Police subdued the W. Palm man with taser

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A West Palm Beach man was arrested early Thursday morning after throwing a piece of chicken that hit his wife in the face, according to police.

Milton Talbert Jr., 39, is charged with simple battery and resisting an officer without violence.

Around 11 p.m. on Wednesday night police responded to a domestic situation call at the couple's house on 927 Abraham Ave.

After police arrived, Tawanna Steward, 33, told them that she and her husband had been arguing because she was upset that he was very intoxicated, according to the police report.

At one point during the argument he threw a piece of chicken, according to the police report.

Talbert fled the scene and police found him in the 900 block of Abraham Ave. He was verbally abusive and acted aggressively, the police report said.

At that point police used a Taser to place him under arrest. His current bond is set at $2,000.
