WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Police officers were responding to a report of a fight at 8th Street and Sapodilla Avenue in West Palm Beach Sunday, shortly after 1:45 p.m., when they heard shots being fired nearby.
Officers were unable to locate any victims or shooting scene.
A man running from the area where the shots were fired fell and was injured by the fall. He was transported to St. Mary's Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
