PBSO: Couple wanted for strong arm robbery at King Chinese Buffet

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man and a woman who are accused of assaulting two restaurant employees before running out on their bill Sunday afternoon.

According to deputies, the man and woman arrived at the King Chinese Buffet at 4270 Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach around 2 p.m. and ordered a meal and ate it.

The pair then attempted to leave without paying and were stopped by two employees. The male suspect punched one employee several times in the head and pushed a female employee with enough force to cause her to fall and break her arm, the sheriff's office said.

Deputies say the suspects fled in a two-door red Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

The vehicle is missing the interior front passenger door panel, which was collected at the scene.

Investigators released fuzzy surveillance photos of the pair.

If anyone can identify the couple they are urged to contact Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
