PBSO: 2 injured after shooting near Loxahatchee school

LOXAHATCHEE, Fla. - Two people are recovering after a shooting Sunday night near an elementary school.
    
The shooting happened on 66th Court in Loxahatchee near Frontier Elementary School.
  
Police said the incident started when a group of people started arguing.
     
Someone then shot 41-year-old John Hendley in the back.  The victim was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.
 
Investigators said a homeowner, Troy Lafferty, 49, suffered a broken leg.  Michael Schmidt, 62, sustained numerous bruises and lacerations to his face.
       
No arrest has been made at this time. This investigation is open and ongoing, according to the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office.
