Paula Garcia, Jose Mojica charged with buying, selling stolen goods

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Two people are charged with buying and selling stolen merchandise at a store located at unincorporated West Palm Beach.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said workers at El Faraon Tools store, located at at 3400 S Military Trail, were arrested in the case.

Undercover PBSO deputies said they were able to bring items to the store to sell without being required to produce paperwork or show identification.

On one occasion deputies told the store clerk that an air conditioner they were selling had been stolen.

The store, which sells tools and auto parts, is not licensed as a secondhand dealers or pawnbroker.

Deputies arrested Paula Garcia, who is listed with the Florida State Division of Corporations as the only registered agentĀ  for the business.

Jose Mojica, who was working in the store, was also arrested.

Garcia was charged with dealing in stolen property and failure to register as a secondhand dealer. Mojica was charged with dealing in stolen property.

Both were booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.
