The much anticipated Palm Beach Outlets on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard will open next Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, according to The Palm Beach Post.
According to the report, since JC Penney's decided to not stay on the mall site during construction, demolition to that building has begun and the opening date was firmed up.
A representative for the developer, New England Development, said the Penney's building should be gone by Nov. 15.
After the initial opening, another half-million square feet of retail space will open up next fall at the site along I-95 and Palm Beach Lakes.
The shopping complex will include a Whole Foods and Nordstrom Rack, plus restaurants BJ's Brewhouse and Red Robin Gourmet Burgers.
