PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - A man was rushed to the hospital Tuesday evening after being cut out of a car involved in a four-vehicle accident on the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Palm Beach Gardens, said Capt. Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
Two vehicles ended up in a ditch. The other two vehicles, 500 yards away, were found in nearby trees and brush beside the road, Borroto said.
He said the 8:08 p.m. accident in the southbound lanes just south of Donald Ross Road left debris scattered across the roadway.
The adult who was extricated from one of the vehicles was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center as a trauma patient with unknown injuries.
There are no other details immediately available.
