New Year's babies 2014: South Florida families celebrate new additions

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Two Palm Beach County families are celebrating the new year with new additions.

At 2:32 a.m. Bridgett Gourdet was born at Saint Mary's Medical Center, the hospital said.

The baby girl is 7 lbs. 4 oz., and 20 ½ inches long.

Just two minutes later Zariyah Cyus was born at Good Samaritan Medical Center.

She was also a baby girl and came in at 6 lbs. 12 oz., and is 19 inches long.

The hospital says she and her mother, Breonda Davis, share the same New Year's Day birthday!

And the first baby born on the Treasure Coast in 2014 is Kameron Toombs, born at 1:32 a.m. to Canetra Pierce at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute.

Kameron is 8 pounds 8 ounces and 21.5 inches long.

The second baby born on the Treasure Coast in 2014 is Lovelle Martin Jr., born to Chrislyn Martin and her husband, Lovelle Sr., at 3:45 a.m. at Tradition Medical Center in Port St. Lucie. Lovelle Jr. is 8 pounds 3 ounces and 20.5 inches long.

The third new baby of the year is Miles Storm Seaton, born at 7:47 a.m. at Indian River Medical Center to Michael and Mette Seaton of Sebastian. Miles is 7 pounds 1 ounce, 19 inches long.
