Larry Hodges: Twitter busts Greenacres man for child porn, authorities say

Accused of uploading pictures to Twitter, Yahoo

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Twitter turned in a Greenacres man suspected of posting child pornography.

Larry Hodges made his first court appearance Friday on 10 child pornography charges.

Authorities say Twitter contacted them with an account that had disturbing images on it.

Investigators say they tied that account, and a Yahoo account with child pornography on it, back to Hodges.

“It doesn’t matter if it’s Instagram, or it’s Twitter, or it’s Facebook, or it’s Microsoft, or it’s Google, if you can post pictures and videos, there is an opportunity to post child pornography on it as well,” Assistant State Attorney Greg Schiller said.

Hodges is being held on $100,000 bail. If he gets out of jail,  Hodges will be on house arrest. A judge also ordered Hodges to stay away from minors and stay off the internet.
