WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A fire official with the Riviera Beach Fire Department has been arrested and charged with domestic battery and tampering with the victim.
West Palm Beach police say they were called to the residence of Division Chief Kenneth Brack by his wife.
According to a police report, she told investigators that she was hit and choked by Brack following a domestic argument.
Officers say that she fled her apartment and called police.
Investigators say that she had markings on her body which appeared to substantiate her claims.
Riviera Beach officials confirm that Brack is employed by the Riviera Beach Fire Department and his job status is 'under review.'
Brack was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.
