WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Two suspects who crashed their car at Florida Mango and Forest Hill Blvd in Lake Clarke Shores Tuesday are being held in the Palm Beach County Jail.
West Palm Beach Police say that they have being using undercover agents to purchase heroin and the drug 'mollie,' an ecstasy-related drug, since July of this year.
Investigators say that on Tuesday they had planned to meet Joseph Henson and Brandon Eberle in the Wendy's parking lot on 10th Avenue North and Florida Mango.
Undercover agents planned to purchase 6 ounces of 'mollie' from Henson at a cost of $2,800, according to an arrest report.
After an agent said he made the purchase from Henson other officers in unmarked cars arrived at the Wendy's parking lot.
Police say that when the other cars arrived Henson jumped into a Volkswagen that Eberle was driving and the pair fled north on Florida Mango.
The driver lost control at Forest Hill Blvd and the suspects bailed out, according to police.
Henson was caught shortly after the accident; Eberle was caught later.
Police say that they recovered heroin, marijuana, and 'mollie' along with various weapons at Henson's Palm Springs residence.
Both Henson and Eberle are being held in the Palm Beach County Jail on drug and weapons charges.
