WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A judge ordered Tuesday that the new trial of Palm Beach County polo mogul John Goodman will be held March 3-21.
A gag order on witnesses and lawyers was also denied in the case but can be refiled.
Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Jeffrey Colbath on Monday agreed to delay the start of the DUI manslaughter retrial after defense attorneys said they needed more time to prepare their defense.
The next hearing is scheduled for 8:15 a.m. on Jan. 14.
This is Goodman's second jury trial in connection with the death of 23-year-old Scott Wilson. Wilson drowned in a Wellington canal after Goodman's Bentley hit the victim's vehicle.
A jury in March 2012 convicted Goodman, but it was later overturned because of juror misconduct.
Goodman remains on house arrest.
