A new helicopter service has launched in Palm Beach County
In a matter of 15 minutes you can go online, book a helicopter, and fly to your destination.
Chopper is a business out of Orlando that now has pickup and destination locations in Palm Beach County.
Depending on the helicopter you book, rides can range from $500 and up.
The CEO of Chopper, Michael Blackton, says he has seen a demand in the service among local lawyers, doctors, and politicians.
"There needed to be more access to helicopters that they currently didn’t have. When you want to get a charter you normally go online find a company, you send them an email for a quote it takes a few days for them to get back if they get back to you it’s just really unorganized thing for public people to use private charters and helicopters and i figured there needed to be a solution to that,” Blackton said.
Right now the destinations in our area include the Ritz-Carlton in Jupiter, the Palm Beach and Miami International Airports, Palm Beach Raceway, and Doral Country Club, among other places.
