Five fun things to do this weekend; Sept. 6-8

Reptile Show- Turtles, snakes, and lizards? Yup, they're coming to West Palm Beach! Repitcon (The Box Expo Center, 2231 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd., West Palm Beach) is coming back this weekend, and will showcase the hundreds of types of reptiles in the world. You'll have a chance to view reptile pets, supplies, feeders, cages, and merchandise. There will also be raffles for enthusiasts and live animal seminars for the entire family. $10 for adults, $5 for kids; Saturday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. & Sunday 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Riverpalooza- Ready to party on the river this weekend? You don't want to miss the ten hour party for a cause. Riverpalooza (Terra Fermata Tiki Bar & Ellie's Downtown Deli, 26 SE 6th street, Stuart) will feature four live bands, face painting, hair braiding, silent auction, raffle, and more! And that's not even the best part. There will be an "all you can eat BBQ" from noon to 4pm. Organizers say they will also have speakers throughout the day to help inspire and educate the public about river issues, and discuss how the public can help. Free; Saturday 12 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Sushi and Stroll Summer Walks- Summer nights in South Florida are something special, especially when they are augmented with taiko drums and a cultural backdrop that can't be beat! Add a cold drink, a breathtaking sunset and a walking path through a tranquil garden, and you've got Sushi & Stroll Summer Walks(4000 Morikami Park Rd., Delray Beach) ! Stroll the gardens at your own pace and take advantage of the self-guided audio tour. Excite your palate with something delicious from our own Cornell Café, indulge in some shopping at the Museum Store or tantalize your senses with a drumming performance by Fushu Daiko. $8 for adults, $6 for kids; Friday 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Brazilian Independence- The world's 5th largest country is bringing the celebration to Boca Raton! And they're not celebrating once, but twice this weekend. On Friday, head out to "Brazilian Beat" at Sanborn Square (72 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton.) Event-goers will enjoy spectacular live music with Forró in the Dark, and Eta Carinae on the main stage, street entertainment including Zumba showcase, Capoeira dancers, carnival dancers and drummers, and also delicious Brazilian food. You don't want to miss the special performances by "Forró in the Dark." They are a collective of New York-based Brazilian ex-pats – Mauro Refosco (zabumba drum and vocals), Guilherme Monteiro (guitar and vocals) and Jorge Continentino (pifano flute, sax and vocals) who are updating the traditional Brazilian sound for the 21st century. For those who don't already know, forró is the hip-swiveling, dance-floor-filling, rural party music of Brazil's northeastern states. And the party continues on Saturday. Sanborn Square will play host to "Brazilian Citizenship Day." It will be a fun-filled day out in the sun with live music, exciting entertainment, food, and many activities for all to enjoy. Free; Friday 6 p.m.- 11 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.

All things Art- Art, Art, and more Art this weekend at CityPlace (700 S Rosemary Ave, West Palm Beach) this weekend! Families and friends are welcome to attend "All Things Art" as part of the popular CityPlace Family Fun Fest series. The art fest will include a number of artsy activities, such as painting giant canvases, molding clay, jewelry making, face painting, balloon animals, spin wheel prizes, games and more. There will also be live street chalk artists, caricaturists, a bounce house, a gymnastics set up and entertainment along the plaza. Chilly cooling stations will be made available throughout CityPlace for relief from the heat. Free; Sunday 1 p.m.- 4 p.m.
