Five fun things to do this weekend; June 21-23

Sound Realm- That's right, one of the biggest electronic dance music festivals is coming to Martin County  this weekend. Sound Realm(Martin County Fairgrounds, 2616 SE Dixie Highway, Stuart) ! Music, food, dancing... what more can you ask for? The festival plans to feature the best local and national DJs, artists, and performers. Organizers expect thousands to enter through the gates at the fairgrounds, so get there early to enjoy the two stages of entertainment. Lazy Rich, Crespo, and MaxMillion are just some of the performers set to take stage. Ages 16 and up. $30; Saturday 12 p.m. - 12 a.m.

Mud Jam-500 acres of mud and party! Are you ready to get dirty? You don't want to miss one of the most anticipated events of the year, Mudjam (6800 Carlton Rd, Port St. Lucie). Come out  and watch mega trucks race through the pits and piles of mud and watch the vehicles fly over jumps. Outside of the drag racing, there will be live entertainment and a buggy party in the evening. There are plenty of showers on site to clean up yourself. And you know what they say; What happens at Mudjam, stays at Mudjam. $40; Friday-Sunday All day.

Solstice Festival- The inaugural festival is set to take over the city of Pahokee this weekend. The festival (Lake Okeechobee Resort, 190 North Lake Avenue, Pahokee) will feature workshops from yoga and belly dancing to "Pagan/Wiccan song & chant," "rune mythology and history," and "Native American stone healing." You can also jump in the pool, fish off the pier, enjoy the bar, and  take part in water sports on the lake. Prices vary; Friday-Sunday.

Strydes Family Fun Day- It's all about bringing awareness to breast cancer this weekend. Come out to the inaugural Strydes Family Fun Day at Howard Park(Parker Ave, south of Okeechobee Boulevard, West Palm Beach) this weekend. Enjoy games, music, food, shopping, and more! Get your teams together for those famous games; tug-of-war, potato sack race, and the infamous 3-legged race. Let's see who will come out on top! Vendors will on site for your shopping pleasure. In attendance will be: Y. Élan Couture a.k.a. The Bling Diva, Little Divas Shop, Wrap That Body, Traci Lynn, PartyLite, Fashion Sense, and Frees Classy Beads. $3 for adults, $2 for kids; Saturday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

Summer Daze- The "Summer Daze Concert Series" is a Florida (Downtown Lake Worth, Lake Avenue, Lake Worth) summer time themed party that features 45 reggae/rock bands & 12 Djs on 2 stages, a wake skating contest with giant inflatable pools, and a bikini fashion show by local bikini brand "indieSWIM." Touring national acts Authority Zero, Ballyhoo!, Stick Figure, Passafire, The Supervillains and Whole Wheat Bread are some of the highly anticipated bands that will be headlining the festival. An amateur wake skate competition will take place to kick off the Summer Daze Concert Series. Wake skating is a fairly new extreme water sport which is much like wake boarding but the board is not attached to the feet allowing the rider to maneuver the board much like a skate board.  J Street will be transformed into an obstacle course of giant swimming pools, ramp and a platform for local riders to pull off their biggest tricks for festival attendees. Cash and prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place will be given to top riders chosen by a panel of judges. The lovely ladies will display some of the newest trends in bikini fashion while being serenaded by the boys of local reggae band Spred The Dub. Sunday; Advance tickets are $10 and the day of show, price will be $15 after 1pm; `11a.m.- 2 a.m.
