Five fun things to do this weekend; Aug. 16-18

Jazz on the Palm- It's Friday! You know what that means! It's time to relax! Gather some friends and family and head to the Fountains for the monthly (Clematis Street, West Palm Beach) Jazz concert. Enjoy the smooth sounds and cool vocals of Drew Tucker & Street Sophistication. Everyone in attendance is encouraged to bring blankets and chairs. Free; Friday 8 p.m.

Wine Tasting- Florida is close... but not close enough to the Caribbean, so now the Islands are coming to us. Come out for the "Hot Caribbean Night" Mansion at Tuckahoe (1921 NE Tuckahoe Dr, Jensen Beach) this weekend! Experience the taste of dozens of wines and sample from some of the county's best chefs. Featured restaurants include Ian's Tropical Grill, East Ocean Bistro and District Table and Bar. There will also be a chef cook-off and live entertainment. Some of the silent auction items up for grabs include a spa package and a catamaran cruise. This annual event benefits the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. $40; Saturday 6-9 p.m.

Fitness Expo-Ready for a workout?? The Beachside Ryde Fitness Studio and the Susan G. Komen Foundation presents the Beachside Ryde 2nd Annual Fitness Expo, a fitness expo that will bring family, friends and community together, build energy levels with fitness and fun to raise money to help end breast cancer forever at the Convention Center this weekend (650 Okeechobee Boulevard, West Palm Beach) ! Come out and try all of the newest fitness equipment and techniques including: Kangoo Jumps; the low impact, high calorie burning running boots. Kangoo Jumps take all the pressure off your knees, joints, and back, burn more calories than any other cardio, and give you an intense core workout the entire time you are in them all with a smile on your face. You can also try the Realryder Indoor Cycling bikes; the bikes you can steer, lean and balance on top of just like a real bike. Indo-Row; rowing machines that capture all the elements of competitive on-water rowing. And we can't forget about the kids! Bring them along for the Fitness Boot Camp; a high energy, fun filled exercise class for kids that includes obstacle courses, partner activities, body weight exercises, resistance bands, circuits and more. There will also be a Zumba dance party to liven things up, a variety of vendors to shop and complimentary chair massages, raffles and more. Free; Saturday 11a.m.-5p.m.

Food Truck Frenzy- Tacos? Pretzels? Icecream? Sound good to you??? If so, then you need to make your way to Riverside Park(350 Dahlia Ln, Vero Beach) this weekend for the food truck frenzy. More than 20 food trucks will be serving up Italian, Greek, Spanish and many other international specialties . And don't forget to bring your bug spray and picnic blanket and of course your appetite.  Free; Saturday 5p.m. - 9p.m. 

Safari Nights- The Palm Beach Zoo (1301 Summit Boulevard, West Palm Beach) will be alive this Friday night! Families can enjoy the ever-popular disc jockeying and face painting talents of Glass Productions' Purple People Painters and Noisy Neighbors DJs in the Fountain Plaza. The weekly event will also include up-close roving animal encounters and special performances of the Wings Over Water bird show and Wild Things stage show, children's games and take-home crafts in the Florida Pioneer House, dinner specials in the Tropics Cafe, complimentary rides on the Wildlife Carousel, offerings of the Paws for a Cause Animal Art Expo, photo opportunities with the Zoo's costume mascots - Kiwi the Koala, Timmy the Tiger, and Speedy the Sea Turtle. Live music for the grown-ups will occasionally be offered on the Tropics Cafe Deck overlooking beautiful Baker Lake. $15.95 for adults, $9.95 for kids; Friday 5:30 p.m.
