Fire destroys one home, damages 3 others in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - West Palm Beach Fire Rescue responded to a residential structure fire in West Palm Beach Friday night.

Officials say a house located at 612 Douglass Avenue was completely destroyed by the fire. Three other homes nearby had minor damage.

No one was home at the time of the fire, according to West Palm Fire Rescue spokesman Allan Ortman.

One dog was found injured and treated at the scene. No other injures were reported.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
