Dr. Donald E. Warren: Palm Beach Atlantic University Board Chairman founder dies

Was devoted volunteer at PBAU

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Palm Beach Atlantic University is mourning the loss of Dr. Donald E. Warren.

According to the school, the founding board chairman and devoted volunteer passed away at the age of 86.

He is credited with helping establish Palm Beach Atlantic in downtown West Palm Beach in 1968.

“He modeled the life of Christ. He was the greatest relationship builder I have ever witnessed and he served as the University's captain through times of turbulence and abundance,” William M. B. Fleming, Jr., Palm Beach Atlantic’s president, said in a news release. “The thriving University we know today is a direct result of his sheer determination and the sense of calling on his life. I am honored to call him my mentor and friend.”
