The juror responsible for a judge granting John Goodman a new DUI manslaughter trial pleaded not guilty to contempt of court charges Thursday morning.
Dennis DeMartin was not in court, but his attorneys entered the plea on his behalf.
DeMartin is accused of juror misconduct during Goodman's trial.
Prosecutors say DeMartin left out information about his ex-wife's DUI arrest during jury selection. DeMartin says a stroke caused memory loss and he forgot to mention the incident.
DeMartin's attorneys say doctors will most likely testify on his condition.
A hearing has been set for September 30th at 1:30 p.m.
