Dave Aronberg will remain in his post as Palm Beach County State Attorney for the next 4 years.

The Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections confirms that no one filed to oppose him by Friday’s noon deadline.

Aronberg’s reelection was first reported in the Palm Beach Post.

Aronberg was elected as State Attorney for the 15th Judicial Circuit in November 2012.

Last month he decided to send a high-profile police-involved shooting case to a Palm Beach County Grand Jury.

The decision was made more than six months after Corey Jones was shot and killed by then-Palm Beach Gardens police officer Nouman Raja.

The Jones family said it was pleased the officer would face a grand jury but leery of the process.

The group Anonymous was not happy with the decision and has promised to protest.
