A 62-year-old Pahokee man was arrested Thursday in a fatal stabbing that occurred almost 28 years ago.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office arrested Clarence Butler in connection with the death of Simmie Harris in July 1989.
Investigators said Butler, who faces a first-degree murder charge, stabbed Harris multiple times in his apartment.
Butler will make his first appearance in court Friday.
