A West Palm Beach man was arrested Tuesday evening in connection with the shooting death of a toddler more than two years ago.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said detectives arrested 24-year-old Devonte Lamar White in the case.
On May 28, 2014, two adults and two children were in a car parked at an apartment complex near Okeechobee Boulevard and Military Trail in suburban West Palm Beach.
Investigators said a man entered the car in the 1500 block of Qualiwood Dr., and there was some sort of struggle.
The man shot his gun and a bullet hit 18-month-old Izarion Colin, who later died at St. Mary's Medical Center.
White faces charges of homicide, burglary and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
In court Wednesday morning a judge denied White bond.
