Car carrying two shooting victims crashes into iron fence at West Palm Beach hospital

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A car carrying two men who'd been shot crashed into the iron fence in front of St. Mary's Medical Center Sunday night in West Palm Beach, according to Riviera Beach police spokeswoman Rose Ann Brown. She said a car was stopped on Blue Heron Boulevard and Avenue F just after 7 p.m. when a second car pulled up; windows were rolled down and shots were fired.

Brown said the driver drove to St. Mary's and crashed into the fence. Two men, one 32 and one 39, were being treated at the hospital; Brown did not immediately have their conditions or identities. She was not sure whether the driver was one of the injured men.

And in an incident that doesn't appear related, a man was shot around 10 p.m. in the 1500 block of West 36th Street, Brown said. She said that person also was taken to St. Mary's with injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening. She did not have his age or identity.
