Tom Bishop is one of many fans who will want to have a good seat when SunFest starts.
"I'm trying to scam some backstage passes," Bishop said.
The Michigan native is going to see headliner Kid Rock take the stage Wednesday night.
"He's from Detroit. He's one of my favorite guys to see," Bishop said.
Right now the sound of crews setting up is filling the air downtown.
Herbert Mlcak works for a Riviera Beach catering company working SunFest.
He and his group has brought plenty of food to feed thousands.
"I mean truck loads," he says.
Mlcak will be feed everyone from the general public to whatever big names are back stage.

Several roads in the area are already closed and people can expect plenty of traffic downtown over the weekend.
"it can be very congested," Bob Horodner of West Palm Beach says.
SunFest gates open at 5 p.m. on Wednesday and musical acts will play through Sunday night.
