WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - What would you do if you had 5,000 sticky notes lying around?
Some local students are using them to create a giant mural of George Washington.
It's at the downtown West Palm Beach Public Library, towering above Clematis Street.
It was planned to coincide with the 4th of July.
A team of Armory Arts center students have been working all week, piecing together the colorful notes before Friday's deadline.
City officials say they wanted to create something unique in honor of the celebration.
"We're encouraging every day as they walk down Clematis Street to look up by George and see what we're doing," said Mary Pinak.
Organizers say the mural will remain up until after the holiday.
