5 fun things to do this weekend; March 22-24th

Palm Beach International Boat Show- A show you do not want to miss! Known as one of the top 10 boat shows in the country, this year's show promises to showcase a spectacular display of more than one billion dollars' worth of yachts, boats and accessories from all over the world. Come out to the 4 day  show (Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach) to browse through hundreds of boats ranging from small inflatables to super yachts over 200 feet long. $16 for adults, $7 for kids; 10a.m. - 7p.m.

Mutt Derby- Bring your four-legged friend and join hundreds of other folks along the Treasure Coast for the annual Mutt Derby Race at The Fur Seasons (1310 SW Treasure Coast Commerce Way, Stuart). Dogs participating will run down a track to raise funds for the shelter animals at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast. Besides the Race, you and your dog can take part in the "No-Jump" educational clinic, and visit different pet vendors. And if the temperature gets too hot, don't worry… They have a pet pool for you and your dog! Admission is free, special events costs vary; 8a.m. - 1p.m.

Twilight Festival-There will be lots of riding and rolling this weekend in Downtown Delray Beach. Make your way out to Atlantic Ave. in Delray Beach to see more than 700 amateur and professional bicyclists ride through the city for the 2nd Annual Delray Beach Twilight Festival. The Festival benefits Kids in Distress, the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center and the YMCA Bike Program.  It's a once in a lifetime showing; Spectators will watch professional cyclists race up to 35 mph in a mixture of tight turns and straight-a ways through downtown Delray Beach. Those in attendance will also enjoy a fun-filled kid zone, health-centric vendor booths, and the opportunity to meet the celebrity cyclists. Free; Saturday 7:30a.m. - 10p.m.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny- It's almost Easter! Hop on over to the Palm Beach Zoo (Between Southern and Forest Hill Boulevard) this weekend to take a picture and eat with the Easter Bunny. Kids can enjoy an egg-cellent buffet breakfast, private animal encounters, an egg hunt and pictures with the Easter Bunny. Children will also receive a special gift from their animal friends and can take a ride on the carousel for free. $32 for adults, $25 for kids; 8:30a.m. & 10:30a.m. Saturday and Sunday

Senior Idol- Are you the next Kelly Clarkson? Jennifer Hudson? Ruben Studdard? Test out your skills this weekend at the Indian River Mall (6200 20th Street, Vero Beach) for their "Senior Idol." Contestants must be 65 years old. Seniors will have a chance to take the stage, competing for the best vocals for the title of "Indian River County's Senior Idol Champion."   Free; 10a.m.-2p.m.
