WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - West Palm Beach residents are hoping lady luck is on their side ahead of Wednesday night's near record $400 million Powerball drawing.
The jackpot is the fourth largest powerball drawing in ever, and the sixth largest in U.S. history of any lottery.
At a cost of $2, players need to pick six numbers and match all of them to win the jackpot.
The odds of matching all six numbers is one in about 175 million.
According to Powerball's website, the odds of winning any prize in the drawing is one in about 32.
Tickets need to be purchased for Wednesday night's 11 p.m. drawing by 10 p.m.
If a winner isn't picked on Wednesday the next drawing will be Saturday night.
