2 killed in I-95 North crash near Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Two people were killed in a single-car wreck Sunday night on Interstate 95 North near Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard.

The crash occurred at 10:47 p.m.

The Florida Highway Patrol said a 2009 Toyota Corolla was traveling northbound on I-95 north of Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard in the inside center lane.

The driver, Jean Claude Denasty, 55, lost control and traveled in a northeasterly direction across the northbound lanes and onto the outside grass shoulder, striking a tree.

The right front passenger, Deada Denasty, 45, was pronounced dead at the scene, and the right rear passenger, Jocelene Chery, was pronounced dead at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Jean Claude Denasty is in critical condition at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
