WELLINGTON, Fla. -- A suspicious person may have approached a group of elementary school children on Friday, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said.
According to a spokesperson, four children were walking in the 2200 block of Greenview Shores when they said they were approached by a man walking in the area.
The man, according to the spokesperson, is said to have asked the children if they wanted candy.
The children reported this to a friend, who reported this to New Horizons Elementary School administration, the spokesperson said.
According to the Sheriff's Office, the man was approximately 5'11", unshaven and had brown or black salt and pepper hair.
He was seen wearing blue jeans and a plaid shirt or blue jeans and a black shirt or beige pants and a black shirt, according to the Sheriff's Office
