A man is facing aggravated child abuse charge after being accused of shooting at two children with a BB gun, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

A 13-year-old claims Michael Hunt shot her and her brother while they were hiding under a blanket.

The blanket prevented injury.

The teen claims Hunt then told her that she had 5 seconds to run before he shot her, according to a probable cause affidavit.

The young teen then claims she was shot in the buttocks and screamed, “It hurts really bad.”

Hunt, 48, of Wellington, was charged with cruelty toward a child, aggravated child abuse, and was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on $5,000 bond.
