Wellington residents are being urged to attend Tuesday's village council meeting.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m.
During the meeting, council members will vote on two items surrounding the Equestrian Village project.
According to "Equestrian Forum Wellington,' the council will vote on whether the existing venue will be given approval for year round use.
The venue has been in operation for three years, according to the Forum.
If approved, the venue will be open to charities 30 days annually.
The village council will also decide whether it'll support efforts made by Equestrian Sports Productions to make a bid to host the 2018 World Equestrian Games.
The event is projected to pump $250 million into the local economy, according to the Equestrian Forum.
The meeting is taking place at Village Hall, located at 12300 Forest Hill Boulevard.
