WELLINGTON, Fla. - A woman who lives in Wellington came home to find her house burglarized and $33,000 worth of jewelry missing, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
It says that a suspect from another burglary case led to an investigation of pawned items at a local store.
One of the items was a high school class ring that had the victim's initials engraved in the band.
The jewelry and ring were pawned by Eric Ornelas, according to PBSO.
Ornelas's girlfriend was also arrested as a result of the investigation.
Bianca Cuellar told deputies that she and Ornelas removed the screen and enter the bedroom through an unlocked window.
Cuellar and Ornelas took jewelry and a 32" television from the home according to PBSO.
Both Cuellar and Ornelas were arrested by deputies on burglary and dealing in stolen property charges and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.
