Suspect in Palm Springs nightclub shooting arrested

PALM SPRINGS, Fla. - A 19-year-old West Palm Beach man, who was caught on camera shooting at four people with an AK-style rifle in December in Palm Springs, has been arrested, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.

Stevie Wilson is facing four counts of attempted first degree murder with a firearm and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon, said Corporal Jose M. DeRogatis.

Wilson has been at the Palm Beach County Jail since March 4 on charges of possession of cocaine.

The shooting happened around 5:15 .m. on December 14 in the parking lot between La Familia Pawn and Flashdance Night Club near Forest Hill Boulevard and Military Trail.

Three people were wounded in the shooting. One was flown by Trauma Hawk to a trauma center. None of the injured sustained life-threatening injuries.

The shooting was caught on surveillance video and showed a man, later identified as Wilson, jumping out of a four-door sedan with an AK-style rifle and shooting at four others.
