MANGONIA PARK, Fla. - UPDATE: The three victims have been identified as Carley Chapman, the 19-year-old woman; Martavious Brown, 17; and Se'Sawn Danford, 17. Danford was the victim who was transported to St. Mary's Hospital, where he died.
Security was on high alert at the Hampton Court apartment complex in Mangonia Park on Monday night as the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office investigated a deadly triple shooting.
The gunfire happened earlier in the day.
Randy Chapman says his daughter is among the victims.
"In broad daylight and now my daughter is dead. This is insane," Chapman said.
A third person was found on scene with a gunshot wound but deputies say he later died at the hospital.
Investigators aren't releasing their names.
"Bubbly, she was cheerful. She was 19-years-old," said a woman accompanying Chapman.
PBSO is only saying it's an ongoing investigation and that its "violent crimes division and crime scene unit are on scene."
In a Facebook post the sheriff's office wrote "there is no one in custody" and that "no motive for this crime has been determined."
Chapman lamented, "she got hooked up with the wrong guy and I tried to tell her and I tried to tell her. She was 19-years-old. There was nothing I could do. It's just sad."
Chapman and the family members who surrounded him say they now must wait for answers as to what happened and why.
"A father should not have to bury his own children, man," he said.
The sheriff's office was still on scene Monday night and said detectives are still very busy with the investigation.
Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
