The Palm Beach County School District now says there was no lockdown at Seminole Ridge High School on Tuesday.
A spokesperson said a person was discovered off campus with a BB gun and was detained.
The School District told WPTV earlier on Tuesday that the school was put on "Code Red" lockdown after an incident "involving a possible weapon on school property".
