ROYAL PLAM BEACH, Fla. - Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews responded to a call on Sunday around 1:00 p.m. from a fisherman who said that he saw a body floating in the water, said Deputy Eric Davis, spokesman for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
The man was identified as Randy Humphrey, 50, of Loxahatchee, Florida. Humphrey was found floating in three-feet-deep water that was eight-feet from the canal bank, with his fishing poles on the water's edge, Davis said.
Humphrey's truck, with his personal belongings inside, was also parked on the canal bank, Davis added.
According to Humphrey's family, he suffers from seizures frequently.
There were no signs of trauma and no foul play is suspected, said Davis.
Humphrey's body has been sent to the Medical Examiner's office for an autopsy, said the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
