Alexandria Thomas: Royal Palm Beach woman charged with stabbing boyfriend near Publix

ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. - A Royal Palm Beach woman is facing domestic aggravated battery charges in connection with a stabbing near a Publix on Wednesday.

The incident occurred at the Publix Plaza located at 1180 Royal Palm Beach Blvd. around 2:30 p.m.

Deputies from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office say that when they arrived they found a woman, identified as Alexandria Thomas, hysterically crying on a cell phone.

Investigators say that nearby was a man on the ground with stab wounds.  Deputies asked Thomas who stabbed him and she answered "I did".

According to an arrest report, Thomas told deputies that she was walking with her boyfriend when they began arguing.

Investigators said Thomas told them that she just wanted him to leave her alone.

According to deputies, she pulled a knife out of her purse during the dispute and stabbed her boyfriend in the chest area.

PBSO says that Thomas was the primary aggressor in the fight.

Thomas was also wanted on a warrant for a retail theft earlier this year.

The victim was flown to St. Mary's Medical Center in critical condition.

Thomas was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.
