Aaron Pegg charged with breaking into, stealing from Royal Palm Beach vehicles

Month-long crime spree comes to an end

ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. - A Palm Beach County man is accused of breaking into several cars and stealing from them.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page, authorities arrested Aaron Lee Pegg. The 30-year-old man is facing burglary and theft charges.

The sheriff’s office said it received five reports of car break-ins during the month of June along Southern Boulevard between Calypso Bay Water Park and Southern Palm Crossing Plaza.

In all cases, someone broke the vehicle’s window and stole personal items, including credit cards, from inside. Authorities think Pegg is responsible for all of the break-ins. He has posted bond.

-Follow the motto “lock it or lose it”
-Lock your car doors and trunk
-Do not leave valuables in plain sight
-Roll up your windows
-Do not leave keys inside your car
-Do not put valuable items in the trunk while in public view
-Do not leave personal information in your car
