Timothy Budd charged with firing four shots into a funeral home

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. - A West Palm Beach man has been arrested by the Riviera Beach Police on charges that he fired four gunshots into the Timothy Kitchens Funeral Home at 2703 Broadway.

Police say that an employee at the funeral home told them that he had received threatening or harassing messages from Timothy Budd.

Budd, according to police, wrote the victim saying that the next notice will come through his front door.

Officers say that Budd left a voice mail stating "I'm coming after you with guns."

Investigators were called to the business Thursday night and found three bullet holes in the glass to the left of the front glass door and one in the glass door itself.

A witness told police that he saw four shots fired at the building and followed the suspect until police arrived,

Officers arrested Budd who stopped at the Wendy's at 3741 W. Blue Heron Blvd.

He was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center complaining on chest pains and was later taken to the Palm Beach County Jail.

Budd was booked into the jail on charges of shooting into an unoccupied dwelling, discharging a firearm in public, criminal mischief and discharging  a firearm from a vehicle.
