Riviera Beach shooting investigated, neighbors say house was shot thirty times

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. - Police in Riviera Beach are investigating a Tuesday afternoon shooting.

Bullets were fired multiple times at cars and a house near West 37th and Avenue P, police say.

"I heard at least thirty shots. All I could think to do was get on the floor," neighbor Tamika Barber said.

There were people inside the home, but no one was hurt, according to police.

A few hours after the shooting, the swat team busted into a home across the street taking a man away in a squad car.

According to Police Spokeswoman Rose Ann Brown, officers were serving a search warrant. She would not say whether the search warrant is related to the shooting across the street.
