RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. - UPDATE: Riviera Beach police issued this statement Thursday afternoon, October 24:
RaeQuan Haywood contacted a family member earlier today and stated "someone" was going to drop him off in West Palm Beach. West Palm Beach Police located him in the area of Belvedere Road and Georgia Avenue. After being given a treatment and medication for hemophilia, he appeared to be in good health. It is still unknown where he has been and who he has been with since October 12th.
Police in Riviera Beach are looking for a 13-year-old boy who has been missing after not returning home from a party on Oct. 12.
RaeQuan Haywood has run away several times in the past, but always returned home after three or four days, said police.
The teen is now considered endangered because he suffers from hemophilia and has missed several rounds of medication, which can cause him to bleed internally.
Haywood is a student at Howell L. Watkins Middle School, however, he has been absent for more than two weeks.
Anyone with information regarding the location of Haywood is asked to contact Riviera Beach Police at (561) 845-4123 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
