Missing and endangered man, 39-year-old Stephan Gist Murph, located and returned to his family

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. -- The Riviera Beach Police Department is looking for assistance in locating 39-year-old Stephan Gist Murph.

Murph is considered endangered due to multiple health and mental developmental conditions. He is considered "special needs" and possesses the mental capacity of a 10-year-old. He cannot read or write.

Murphy was last seen at 11:30 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2016 at his home in Riviera Beach.

His mother says he left his residence through a bedroom window.

Murph has been diagnosed with Paranoid Schizophrenia, Bi Polar Disorders, Diabetes, and Alcoholism Syndrome. He is in need of regular doses of several medications. Without his medication, he could easily become dangerous to himself and/or others.

In the past year, Murphy has left his residence several times and frequents the downtown West Palm Beach area. His family says in the past he generally returns home before nightfall after walking around all day.

Stephan Gist Murph is described as 5' 8" in height, weighing 180 pounds, with brown eyes and a bald head. He was last seen wearing a maroon shirt and slacks of unknown color.
