Henry L. Kindred killed after being struck by one vehicle, then dragged by a second, police say

Incident happened in Riviera Beach

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. - The pedestrian killed Monday evening after he was struck by one vehicle and then dragged by a second at the intersection of Australian Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard in Riviera Beach, has been identified.

According to police, he was 55-year-old Henry L. Kindred of Riviera Beach.

Kindred was trapped underneath the second vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene, police spokeswoman Rose Anne Brown said.

The accident happened around 9 p.m.

Both drivers remained at the scene to speak to police, Brown said.
