RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. - A man accused of calling in a bomb threat at a Riviera Beach restaurant over the weekend was in court Monday.
The judge granted the suspect, Serge Merland, a $10,000 bond and told him he needs a mental evaluation.
The threat Sunday night at the Tiki Waterfront Sea Grill caused authorities to evacuate the area.
Customers and boaters were not allowed to leave or return to the nearby marina. Some were stuck waiting for more than five hours while police had the area roped off.
It's unclear what prompted the bomb threat.
