Donald Ross Road cleared west of Turnpike after vehicle rolls over on Interstate 95 overpass

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - Authorities have reopened Donald Ross Road, west of Florida's Turnpike, after a vehicle rolled over on the Donald Ross Road overpass of Interstate 95.

Though the accident remains at the overpass, the temporary shutdown of Donald Ross Road gave Trauma Hawk a landing spot.

Preliminary reports indicated that at least three people were injured. By the time units arrived around 4 p.m., two people were reportedly out of the vehicle, but one remained trapped inside.

Because the extrication of the trapped patient took nearly 10 minutes, Trauma Hawk was dispatched.

The patient was flown to St. Mary's Medical Center for treatment.
