Missing 15-year-old boy with autism found safe by nurse in Palm Springs

UPDATE:

Palm Beach police said Cooper Levine was found safe by a nurse Monday morning in Palm Springs.

Detective Sgt. Tom Melnichok with Palm Beach Police said the nurse was on her way to work at 6:45 a.m. when she spotted Cooper near a Publix located at Congress Avenue and Greenbrier Drive in Palm Springs.

She reached out to him, he got in her car and she called police.

EARLIER STORY: 

The Palm Beach Police Department is looking for a 15-year-old boy with autism that went missing overnight. 

The teen, Cooper Dayton Levine, was last seen wearing a blue Superman shirt and blue and orange swimming trunks. 

Police said he should have a blue Trek bike, that doesn’t have lights, and may be wearing a red helmet. 

He is 5 feet 7 inches, weighs 110 pounds, has dark blond hair and blue eyes.
